					| Athletics Squelch Guardians Offense in Shutout Win |
					| Oakland Athletics starter Corbin Schenn worked his magic, as he helped his team defeat the Cleveland Guardians, 3-0. Charlie Shook earned his 19th save in 19 chances. At 44-45, the Athletics are currently second in the American League West Division.
Oakland relied on the hitting of Jeff Luvisi to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Athletics on top, 2-0. For the game, Luvisi had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Bersha Nainco. "That was the problem."
