					| Late Magic Gets Seattle 3-1 Win |
					| The Seattle Mariners got a magnificent performance from pitcher William de Jesus, who stifled the Texas offense en route to a 3-1 Mariners win at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Justin Lee was credited with the save for Seattle, his 7th of the season. The Mariners now have a record of 31-56 with the win over Texas.
Seattle relied on the hitting of Rick Ellis to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Mariners on top, 2-1. For the game, Ellis had 1 triple and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"Tough loss," said Texas manager Juan Smith III. "But we'll learn from it."
