					| Yankees Top California, 4-3 |
					| The New York Yankees did just enough to sneak past the California Angels, 4-3, at Yankee Stadium. New York pitcher Bryce Cleavinger, in particular, had a standout performance. With the win over California, the Yankees improved to 31-51.
Gus Berry, who signed a 7-year contract worth $284,800,000 on 12/10/2048, helped out the New York cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said California manager Dakota Wise. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
