California Winter League fans were certainly not disappointed with this A Division Round 1.

The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Lake Elsinore Storm prevailing over the Charlotte Stone Crabs to advance to the Division Series.

Lake Elsinore won the final game by a score of 2-0 at Lake Elsinore Diamond and that sealed the series 2-1.

"Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said second baseman Yuusei Narita, who earned MVP honors.

For the series, Narita hit .667 with a .727 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 1 runs.
