					| The Houston Astros dealt the Cleveland Guardians a 1-0 loss at Progressive Field. Jimmy Edlin was the star on offense. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Edlin went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 5-7.  Lance Crumpton was credited with the save for Houston, his 4th of the season. 
 Eric Katz, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Katz contributed a run-scoring  double in the top of the sixth inning to put Houston up, 1-0.
 
 "I was a little disappointed," said Cleveland manager Bersha Nainco. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
 
 With the win, Houston has a record of 31-51. Cleveland falls to 34-48.
