Rangers Need Extra Innings to Top Orioles, 8-5
The Texas Rangers grabbed a win, 8-5, over the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Texas second baseman John Giesbrecht was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Texas pitcher Kyle Curve got the win. He's now 4-1. Chris Dauphin was tagged with the loss. Texas is now 39-35, while Baltimore is 31-42.

Giesbrecht had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 2-2 sinker from Chris Dauphin, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Rangers a 8-5 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Giesbrecht.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Giesbrecht, "and then get after it again."
