					| The Texas Rangers and New York Yankees were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd. 
 The New York Yankees withstood an impressive performance by Texas shortstop Vince Ealy to defeat the Rangers, 7-4, at Yankee Stadium. Ealy went 3-3 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.   The Yankees sport a record of 22-40.
 
 Bartholomeu Chambino, who led the AL in wins above replacement with 8.5 in 2043, chipped in for  New York with a 2-run  home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
 
 "I know we have our doubters," said Texas manager Juan Smith III. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
