Seisaburo Edagawa put on a hitting clinic today as the Boise Hawks dumped the Eugene Emeralds 36-2 at PK Park.

The Boise right fielder made Eugene defenders earn their pay, lashing Eugene pitching for 5 hits in 8 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Edagawa said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Seisaburo Edagawa grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
