					| Mets Take Down Reds, 3-2 |
					| The New York Mets topped the Cincinnati Reds, 3-2, in National League action at Great American Ball Park. The standout performance belonged to New York pitcher and Morelia, Mexico, native David Anzaldua. Ken Dewey came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. The Mets go to 23-37 with the win.
New York needed the clutch hitting of Drtian Thaqi to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Mets on top, 3-2. For the game, Thaqi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I was a little disappointed," said Cincinnati manager Jimmy Silveira II. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
