					| Pirates Jolt Rockies, 6-5, with Late Rally |
					| Colorado got a terrific game from second baseman Shawn Morrison. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Pittsburgh, 6-5. Morrison went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Tim Wichman snagged the win in relief. In 3 innings, the left-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 2-0 on the season. With the win, Pittsburgh upped its record to 35-25.
David Contreras was the walk-off hero for Pittsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pirates third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Contreras told the Pittsburgh Times.
