					| Gallo, Cardinals Too Much for Twins |
					| The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Minnesota Twins by a score of 13-7. St. Louis right fielder Danny Gallo deserved the lion's share of the credit. Gallo was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 4 runs for the Cardinals. With the win, St. Louis pushed its record to 31-28.
Had Armando Carbajal not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Carbajal hit a 2-run single. That made the score 8-6, in favor of the Cardinals.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Gallo told the St. Louis Observer.
