					| Red Sox Top Marlins, 7-1 |
					| The Boston Red Sox picked up a win at Fenway Park, knocking off the Miami Marlins, 7-1. Starting pitcher Frank Picaso was an essential part of his team's success. John Hotham picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-0. Mike Torres was tagged with the loss. The triumph puts Boston at 39-16 for the season.
Had Ray Llewellyn not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Llewellyn hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Red Sox.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Llewellyn. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
