		| 5-for-8 Day for Freeman |
		| There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.
John Freeman is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-8 against the South Bend Cubs at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium today. The monster effort from the 27-year-old center fielder helped the Fort Wayne TinCaps take the win, 35-2.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Cubs manager Tim Tebow. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

John Freeman grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

Freeman on the season is hitting .268 with 9 home runs. His stats include 61 RBIs and 64 runs scored.
