					| The performance of Philip Jansen proved critical in helping San Francisco beat California, 5-4. The Giants left fielder was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. With the win, San Francisco pushed its record to 26-23. 
 Luis Magdaleno, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Magdaleno contributed a run-scoring  sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put San Francisco up, 5-4.
