Baker K's 10 En Route to 2-0 Angels Win
Jeff Baker was outstanding against Detroit. The left-hander, who is tied for 6th in the AL with a 1.05 WHIP, had a cutter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Angels 2-0 win. Marshall Barron locked down his 3rd save. The first-place Angels have won 6 straight games.

Baker was in the zone all game. He frustrated Detroit hitters while giving the Angels 7 innings of quality work. Baker threw 102 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 10 punchouts.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Baker.
