					| Rockies Best Mets in Pitching Duel |
					| Colorado starter Mike Nimmo put a stranglehold on the New York offense. The left-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Rockies to a 2-1 win. Nimmo, the winner, moves to 1-3. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up 2 walks. Tony Campos got credit for the save for Colorado. It was his 6th of the year.
Andy Bowman, the 28-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Bowman contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Colorado up, 2-1.

"Runs were at a premium," said Colorado manager Joshua J.

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Colorado.
