Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Cubs
The Chicago Cubs downed the New York Mets, 7-6, in 10 innings. Steve Bartman Jr. led the way, going 2-for-4 for Chicago. Mike Alexander picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-4. Ken Dewey was tagged with the loss. The Cubs improved to 20-17.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Bartman Jr. hit a fastball from Ken Dewey for a solo home run. The Cubs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Mergatroid Skittle, the Chicago skipper.
