					| Tigers Lose to Orioles, 4-1 |  
					| Baltimore and Detroit duked it out and the Orioles came out victorious. 
 Baltimore Orioles starter Douglas ten Pas was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Detroit Tigers, 4-1. ten Pas, now 4-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 run.
 
 Luis Ramos went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs for Baltimore. The 31-year old center fielder  had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring  walk off Steve McGaughey. It was his 4th walk of the season.
 
 "We put together a nice win," ten Pas said.
 
 The 4th-place Orioles now have a win-loss record of 15-21.
