					| Athletics Lose to Blue Jays, 3-2 |
					| Starting pitcher Pimbly Nimblebottom was a major factor in the 3-2 Toronto Blue Jays triumph over the Oakland Athletics. Earning his 1st save of the year was John Brice. Toronto has now won 3 straight, while the Athletics have lost 3 in a row.
Toronto used the timely hitting of Steve Jordan to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Every loss hurts," said Oakland manager Daryl S. Oakland. "But this was a tough one."
