Curt Stevens kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Atlanta Braves were all smiles after winning 7-0 against the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park today. The right-handed Stevens gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits and had 11 strikeouts.

"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Stevens said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."

Stevens has fashioned a 5-1 mark for the season, 2.47 ERA and thrown 51 innings in 7 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .190 against him.
