Pirates Get One-Run Win at Miami
The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Miami Marlins, 2-1. Doing his part was designated hitter Chris Salim, who went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs. Jimmy Vanthournoutingtonle earned the save, his 2nd, for the Pirates. The win puts Pittsburgh at 18-14.

Salim had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-0 fastball from Sean Geer, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Pirates a 2-1 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Salim.

"I like what I saw today," said Pittsburgh manager Sam Mcg Pittsburgh, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
