					| With center fielder Lucan Esini leading the charge, the San Francisco Giants defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-5, at AT&T Park. Esini, who is tied for 3rd in the NL in triples with 3, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Randy Johnson Jr. got the win, improving to 3-0. He worked 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. Picking up the save was Caleb Mullinax, his 8th. 
 San Francisco took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Esini hit a 2-run  double. His 7th double of the season made the score 4-2, San Francisco.
 
 "We had the game right there for the taking," said Arizona manager Jose Quintana. "But we decided not to take it."
 
 The win brings the Giants to 19-12, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
