					| | Treminio Fashions No-Hitter Against Hurricanes Monday, November 23rd , 2048
Is it better to be lucky or good?

After leading the Arizona State University Sun Devils to victory, 3-0, and tossing a no-hitter over the University of Miami Hurricanes, Jamie Treminio didn't have the answer.

"I don't know," Treminio said. "To do what I did today, I'm pretty sure it takes both."

On his big day at Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park, Treminio fanned 10 and had 3 walks. And it seemed that when the Hurricanes managed to hit the ball hard, it went right at a defender.

"That's how you get a no-hitter," Treminio said with a smile. "A lot of skill mixed with a little luck."

This year Treminio has a 6-7 mark in 17 starts with a 2.61 ERA. He has given up 70 hits in 93 innings, struck out 95 and issued 21 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .205 batting average against him.
