Week's Top Performer Honored by ORI Monday, November 2nd , 2048 Division 1 pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Murilo Cunha of the University of Georgia Bulldogs out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 20-year-old center fielder boasted a .565 average with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Cunha went 13-for-23 for the week. Cunha has a .263 average and a .314 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 54 hits, 4 home runs and driven in 20 runs. |
