Barrage of Hits Gets Gonzales SL2 Award Monday, October 5th , 2048 A hot-hitting week got Benito Gonzales the Sub League 2 Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Mississippi State University left fielder slammed them for a .478 average, 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In the postgame press conference, Gonzales shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
