World Series Sweep to Capitals Friday, November 13th , 2048 Today the Capitals fans broke out the brooms at Ballpark of Victoria and it worked -- Victoria swept the Winnipeg Goldeyes 4-0 and are the 2048 Pioneer Baseball League World Series champions for the 5th time in their history. The Capitals derailed Winnipeg 11-3 to wrap up the title. Victoria finished the season with a record of 108-27 and ranked first in the Western League North Division. |
