Patron Wins WL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 21st , 2048 The Western League has selected its Player of the Week. The honor went to Alejandro Patron, third baseman of the Calgary Flames. In a standout performance, he lit up the league with a .545 average to win the award. Patron went 12-for-22 for the week, totaled 11 home runs with 18 RBIs and scored 12 times. This season Patron is hitting .291 with 66 hits, 39 home runs, 72 RBIs, scored 53 runs and played in 96 games. |
