The Tijuana Toros reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/29/2048 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. The team will likely place Nightingale on the injured list today. To date this year, he has registered no saves, no wins and 1 loss with a 4.12 ERA. Nightingale has made 15 relief appearances, worked a total of 24 innings and surrendered 23 hits. He has fanned 28, issued 10 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .242 batting average. |
