Miller Fires No-Hitter Sunday, August 23rd , 2048 There was magic on the mound today at Toros Stadium as Tijuana Toros starter Austin Miller no-hit the Colorado Avalanche. Miller held Colorado hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Toros to a 13-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Miller said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Miller rang up 15 strikeouts and issued 2 walks. This season Miller has a 11-4 record with a 2.42 ERA. |
