Troiano Twirls Blue Crabs to Shutout Win Sunday, August 16th , 2048 The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs bested the Paris Cubs 13-0 today behind the 5-hit pitching of left-hander Oliver Troiano. The Southern Maryland hurler had 15 strikeouts and no walks in going the distance. "Pitching 9 innings is never easy, but it's rewarding on a day like today," Troiano said. Thus far this season, Troiano has worked 98.1 innings with 136 strikeouts en route to a 4-6 record and a 1.46 ERA. |
