Houston-Calgary Brawl, Middleton and Garcia Suspended Tuesday, August 11th , 2048 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Houston-Calgary contest at Colt .45's Stadium. The Colt .45's Bert Middleton and the Flames Vicente Garcia will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far on the season Middleton is hitting .199 with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 53 hits and played in 78 games. In 15 starts this season Garcia has chalked up a 5-3 record and a 3.15 ERA. |
