Season Ends for McFarland Tuesday, December 15th , 2048 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Wichita State University's Paul McFarland to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 12/13/2048 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," McFarland said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." McFarland has been out of action since he suffered a stretched elbow ligament. To date this year McFarland has saved 0 games while tossing 76.2 innings. He has a 4.58 ERA, fanned 46 batters and made 41 relief appearances. |
