Tierney Week's #1 Player Monday, December 14th , 2048 21-year-old Jack Tierney sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Dvision 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Tierney made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 14 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs and 10 runs batted in. Where the University of Toronto Marlies left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Tierney certainly made his mark last week. This season Tierney is batting .343 with 23 home runs. |
