Swap: Gonzalez for Nimblebottom Saturday, December 12th , 2048 In a hastily called press conference, Toronto announced today a trade with New York that will send 25-year old minor league LHP Julio Gonzalez and a 1st round draft pick to the Yankees in exchange for 33-year old RHP Pimbly Nimblebottom and 36-year old RHP John Brice. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. New York will retain a portion of Brice's remaining contract. The 33-year-old Nimblebottom has a career record of 105-114 and has fanned 1921 batters in 1830 innings with a 4.65 ERA. |
