Kawachi Injured, Day-to-Day Saturday, October 3rd , 2048 Muneo Kawachi of the Oakland Athletics was hurt in yesterday's game with the Angels. He sustained groin soreness while running the bases and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be one week before the standout center fielder will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. This season Kawachi has hit at a .294 clip with 93 RBIs, 27 home runs and 88 runs scored. He has played in 144 games. |
