Early Season End for Woods Saturday, September 5th , 2048 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Houston's Jason Woods to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 09/03/2048 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Woods said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Woods has been out of action since he suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament. This year Woods is hitting at a .246 pace with 22 home runs and 63 RBIs. He has played in 121 games and scored 64 times. |
