Guardians, Mets Agree to Deal Friday, July 31st , 2048 The Guardians and Mets have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 36-year old C Hiroshige Yamada and 35-year old CF Pete Barutha going to New York in exchange for a 4th round draft pick. Cleveland will retain a portion of Yamada's remaining contract. Cleveland will retain a portion of Barutha's remaining contract. This year Barutha is batting .278 with 19 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
