Cardinals-Angels Trade: Banana for Nebel Friday, July 31st , 2048 In a move that has left many fans wondering, the St. Louis Cardinals have traded 26-year old RHP Bryan Banana to the California Angels. In return, the Cardinals receive 19-year old minor league RF Doug Nebel. St. Louis will retain a portion of Banana's remaining contract. Up to this point in the season, Banana has put up these stats: 36 relief appearances, 25 saves, 37.2 IP, 35 strikeouts and 4.06 ERA. His won-lost record is 3-4 with the opposition is hitting .292 against him. |
