Padres Cruise to Division Series with Sweep Saturday, October 31st , 2048 Elias Vences said he expected the Wildcards Series to be "a battle from start to finish." "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Vences. San Diego (APP) won the final game by a 5-1 count and were led in the series by Vences, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .583 with 2 home runs. He also drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcards Series finishes. |
