Garza Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times Sunday, October 4th , 2048 Ogden Raptors left fielder Pedro Garza had a magnificent game against the Chicago (APP) Cubs today, rocketing three balls out of Lindquist Field to help the Raptors take the 35-1 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Garza went 3-for-5 with 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Ogden manager Chae-ku Jou said later. "Seems like Pedro found his home run stroke today." Pedro Garza struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Bobby Almonte in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Bobby Almonte in the 4th, walked in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Bobby Almonte in the 7th. For the year Garza has hit .307 with 56 home runs, 155 RBIs and scored 145 runs. |
