Blue Jays Osborne Fans 15 Astros Monday, September 28th , 2048 Bluefield Blue Jays starter Jack Osborne brought his best stuff to Bowen Field today against the Greeneville Astros, striking out 15 batters in his club's 12-2 victory. In a strong performance, the 20-year-old Osborne gave up 3 hits in his 8 innings of work and issued 1 walk. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my changeup was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." Up to now Osborne has recorded a record of 13-5. In 26 starts he has fanned 145 batters in 134.1 innings with a 6.83 ERA. |
