League Suspends Obote and Yeager for Brawl Wednesday, May 27th , 2048 Areda Obote of Greeneville and Bruce Yeager of Baltimore (APP) were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Obote will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Yeager was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Obote is swinging at a .250 pace on the year with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has played in 25 games. So far this year Yeager has no wins and 1 loss and a 5.09 ERA. |
