					| | Angels Pitching Ravaged by Garcia Tuesday, August 6th , 2047
The Chicago (NYP) White Sox stopped the Los Angeles (NYP) Angels by a score of 14-2 at Baseball City Complex today, with the lion's share of the credit going to second baseman Tony Garcia. The 37-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Garcia said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Garcia did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Angels.

"Not much that I can say," offered Los Angeles (NYP) manager Caleb Baker. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Tony Garcia hit a two-run triple in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Cal Abbott in the 6th and singled in the 7th.

So far this season, Garcia has recorded a .253 batting average with 84 hits, 12 home runs, 47 RBIs, 53 runs scored and a .378 OBP.
