Vermont's Mauer Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, August 17th , 2048 Swinging a hot stick last week, Josh Mauer picked up the McNamara Division Player of the Week Award today. The 28-year-old right fielder for Vermont lashed 10 hits in 22 at-bats as he put together a .455 average with 2 home runs. Mauer also drove in 5 runs, scored 6 times and compiled a .478 OBP. Presently Mauer is batting .219 and has collected 9 home runs, 34 RBIs, .305 OBP and scored 60 runs. |
