Shorebirds Advance to Division Championship Tuesday, October 6th , 2048 Ken Manser has led his Delmarva Shorebirds to a Wildcard Series victory. Delmarva's third baseman was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-2 and eliminating the Greenville Drive. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the Division Championship with a 7-6 triumph at Fluor Field at the West End in the deciding game. Manser was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .429 average, as well as 1 home runs and 3 RBI. The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
