Hot Rods, Trejo Blank West Michigan, 9-0 Wednesday, September 23rd , 2048 Julio Trejo of the Bowling Green Hot Rods toyed with the West Michigan Whitecaps today, blanking them 9-0 at Fifth Third Ballpark. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 1-hit shutout with 9 strikeouts and 3 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Trejo said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." Currently Trejo has a 17-5 won-lost record in 31 starts with a 2.61 ERA. He also has 193 strikeouts in 193.1 innings. |
