Kane County-South Bend Brawl, Olson and Vint Suspended Friday, September 11th , 2048 J.P. Olson of the Kane County Cougars and Steve Vint of the South Bend Cubs received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. This season in 123 games, Olson has hit at a .239 clip with 100 hits, 13 home runs, 64 RBIs and 53 runs scored. To date this season, Vint has registered 29 starts, 4-14 won-lost mark, 6.69 ERA, 122.1 IP, 67 strikeouts and 60 walks. Opposing teams have hit .322 against him. |
