Perez Fires 4-0 Shutout for Delmarva Thursday, September 3rd , 2048 24-year-old Delmarva Shorebirds pitcher Luis Perez had a strong outing against the Burlington Bees at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 11 in the 4-0 win and walked 0 while surrendering 4 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. So far this season, Perez has logged a 10-4 record with a 2.84 ERA. He has started 17 games, hurled 111 innings and registered 129 strikeouts and 27 walks. |
