NL's Best Batter Announced Saturday, August 1st , 2048 For a rookie just breaking in, Gerardo Macias certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the NL Batter of the Month award for July. The 22-year-old left fielder for the Peoria Chiefs hit .333 with 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Macias is batting .268 with 24 home runs and 67 RBIs this season. |
