Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Thursday, July 9th , 2048 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Burlington-West Michigan contest at Community Field. The Bees Kyler Seitz and the Whitecaps Jorge Castaneda will have to sit out 5 and 3 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Seitz on the season is batting .171 with 3 home runs. His totals include 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has played in 33 games. Castaneda has no saves this season with a won-lost record of 5-1 and 2.32 ERA. |
